Our company originated from Taiyo Kaiun Co., Ltd., which was established in Kobe in 1917. After surviving many waves of consolidation and mergers in the shipping industry, we are now a member of the Kawasaki Kisen Group, and our main business is to provide ship management services for car carriers and bulk carriers.
The first responsibility of a ship management company is to achieve "safe operation".
In order to fulfill our responsibility of delivering the cargo entrusted to us by our shippers safely to their destinations without causing any ship accidents, we provide services through a global network, with overseas bases in the Philippines, Germany, Bulgaria, and China in addition to our Kobe headquarters. In the Philippines and Bulgaria, we are also working on training our crew members in cooperation with local maritime educational institutions.
In addition, regarding environmental issues, we are working to achieve the Kawasaki Kisen Group's environmental vision of "net zero GHG emissions by 2050," and we are working to develop crew training and ship management systems that can handle new fuels and new technologies.
We will continue to make the best use of the knowledge and experience we have accumulated over more than 100 years of history and tradition, while keeping up with the changing times, to provide high-quality transport services that ensure safe operation and environmental conservation.
